Mark Lipscomb, Jr.
Mark G. Lipscomb, Jr. (September 1, 1935 - ) is an American lawyer, former postal clerk and politician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who served four terms as a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and one partial term in the Wisconsin State Senate.〔("Members of the Wisconsin Legislature 1848–1999 Legislative Reference Bureau Information Bulletin 99-1, September 1999; pp. 11, 76 )〕
== Background ==
Lipscomb was born in Milwaukee, September 1, 1935. He graduated from Marquette University High School, and earned a B.S. in business administration from Marquette University in 1957 (he was a track athlete, specializing in the half-mile run and president of the track club). He served in the Marines from 1957–1960, then got a LL.B. from Marquette's law school in 1964. In addition to his law practice, he has worked as a postal clerk, and belonged to the United Federation of Postal Clerks.
